Unemployment fell in the fourth quarter of 2010, according to figures from Statistics SA.

The figures reveal the unemployment rate dropped to 24% from 25% in the previous quarter.

However, the total number of unemployed people remained at 4.1m.

Kelly was previously chief executive of IT firm Micro Focus and joins Fairsail as an investor and board executive.  

He was also previously CEO of US customer relationship management vendor Chordiant.

Recruitment software provider Bullhorn has signed up business transformation recruiter Venquis.

Venquis says it chose the recruitment software specialist specifically to support an ambitious and dynamic programme of expansion, which includes a target of £3m profit by 2016.
