Redrock reports rise in fee income
IT staffing solutions provider Redrock Consulting has reported a 22% increase in fee income for the 12 months to December.
IT staffing solutions provider Redrock Consulting has reported a 22% increase in fee income for the 12 months to December.
The news from the Bristol-based recruiter comes after the Centre for Cities Annual Index named Bristol one of the five best placed cities in the UK to create jobs and drive economic recovery.
Redrock managing director, Dean Harte (left), says: “The outlook for 2011 is very positive. Underlying growth and the return to confidence is implicit in the strong demand within our contract business, while permanent fee income is consistently higher than the previous peaks in 2008.”
Redrock’s data indicates a change in the revenue mix over the past 12 months, with a significant decline in public sector business.
“We supply contract and temporary staff to over 40 local authorities. Over the last six months the number of job requests in the sector has declined by over 30%.
“We fully expect this reduction to continue into this year, with many of our public sector clients looking towards outsourcing solutions as a way of reducing spend.”
