Profits at job board Fish4jobs rose in 2009, despite a substantial drop in turnover.

In the year ending 31 December 2009 net profit after tax was £721,450 compared to £547,330 in 2008. This was despite a 46% fall in turnover to £4,896,275 (2008: £9,074,936.

In its report and financial statement, the company says that “significant cost savings were made during this period”.
