2B Interface, a recruitment agency providing skilled trades people and management personnel, last week launched a bespoke service for the motorsports industry at the Autosport International show at the NEC in Birmingham.

Speaking from the show about the motorsports division, managing director Beatrice Bartlay told Recruiter 2B Interface decided to diversify into this new sector after recognising the synergies with the highly-skilled labour the company has on its books. “We already have the expertise from our experience supplying shopfitters for the past six years,” she said. “[The labour skills] include TIG welders, which requires precision and an artistic skill both within shopfitting and motorsports. Other highly-skilled candidates include metal workers, GRP laminators and fabricators. It is these skills that are in demand within motorsports.”

She had been researching the market for the past six months and diversifying “seemed a natural process” for 2B Interface. “We can use our previous experience from other markets to grow and offer a unique service to the motorsports trade,” she said.

She added: “So far the show has been a success. We are optimistic about our future and the services that we can provide.”
