A young entrepreneur who started his first recruitment business in 2007 aged 18 has launched Luxury Talent, an online recruitment network for the luxury market.
Mohammed Mirza, who established Luxury Recruit in July 2007 with a loan from his mum (Recruiter, 11 July 2007), has bucked the recessionary trend with a premium application-only job site dedicated to the luxury goods sector.

UK creative staffing specialist Become has opened a new office in Melbourne.
The office is the firm’s second in Australia, while Become will also be opening offices in Amsterdam and Asia within the next 12 months.

Experian’s Insolvency Index reveals that 1,808 UK companies, 0.10% of the active business community, became insolvent in April 2011, 0.55% fewer than the same period in 2010 (1,818).
