Earnings before Interest & Tax (EBIT) rose by 45%, while 17 of the firm’s 95-office nationwide network grew turnover by 50% or more.

Driver Hire chief executive, Chris Chidley, says: “We’ve enjoyed an outstanding year. In a still uncertain economic environment our clients clearly welcome the flexibility of using temps.

“Looking ahead, as economic activity continues to recover, we see a greater demand for permanent staff. That’s why we launched dh Logistics Appointments at the Commercial Vehicle Show - a new permanent recruitment service for managerial staff. Another exciting development is our proposal for online driver assessment and training.”
