Turnover increased by 13% in global technical, engineering, rail and IT engineering services recruiter NES Group’s results for the year ended 31 October 2009.
The group’s turnover was £286m, while gross profit grew by 7% to £33.4m and operating profit year-on-year rose to £12.02m.

City job vacancies have risen to their highest number recorded this year, according to the latest Morgan McKinley employment monitor in October.
The monitor shows that the number of new financial services job vacancies in London rose by 15% compared to September, while October also saw the smallest year-on-year percentage decrease in new job numbers for 16 months.
The Institute of Measurement & Control (InstMC), for professionals in the instrument and control engineering market, has appointed technical and engineering recruiter NES as an authorised recruitment agency.
The deal ensures that the InstMC will direct recruitment enquiries from organisations and workers within the industry to NES.
Half of British workers surveyed by online courier matchmaking service www.Boxby.co.uk have exploited the recent cold snap to skive off work.
