Multi-sector recruiter GPW Recruitment has taken on new apprentices through St Helens Chamber, a private sector online community for the North-West city.

The apprentices are: Emma Chorley, who will focus on technical & design; Daniel Lewis, who will target manufacturing & engineering division; and Jack Houghton, who will work in operations.

Recruitment software provider Bullhorn’s results for the first six months of this year saw an increase of over 40% in new bookings and paid users across the business compared to the same period last year.

The company now has more than 2,000 users in the UK. New clients include Venquis, Investigo, ReThink Recruitment and Recruit 121. Globally, Bullhorn has in excess of 45,000 users.

Graduate recruitment website Milkround has appointed Rhiannon Hughes as client marketing executive.

Hughes will have particular responsibility for Milkround’s applicant tracking system (ATS), to which Milkround recently added personalised application forms, boolean searching and interview slot scheduling features.
