UK employees want employers to appoint female managers, according to research by global recruiter Randstad.

In a joint operation with the Gangmasters Licensing Authority (GLA), West Midlands Police have arrested two men aged 26 and 49, and a heavily pregnant female was also detained.

The arrest was made on suspicion of supplying temporary workers without a valid GLA licence in the agriculture sector. One of the men and the female were also identified as being illegal in the UK.
