US online career site CareerBuilder has bought Malaysia’s fastest-growing job portal JobsCentral, according to Bernama, Malaysia’s national news agency.

The article cites online data and research provider Internet World Stats’ estimation that internet penetration rate across Malaysia is nearly 60%. The UK figure is 82.5%.

Director of RPO provider ResourceBank, Sarah Hopkins, is to head up ResourceBank Executive Search – the firm’s new executive search headhunting division to help clients across Europe to fill senior and board level positions in all sectors.

In her new role, Hopkins, previously a senior consultant at Whitehead Mann with more than 10 years at ResourceBank, will manage a team of four.
