US engineering and IT staffing and outsourcing firm CDI Corp has seen revenue grow to $272.5m (£170m) in Q3 2011, a rise of 9.3% to compared to the same period the previous year.

Meanwhile, operating profit has fallen by 10.5% to $4.4m (£2.7m) within the period.

Mike Rutkowski has been appointed director at SAP software recruiter Red Commerce’s new US headquarters in New York.

Rutkowski was previously director of SAP services at consultancy Bayforce and before this worked at recruiter Starpoint Solutions, and founded Trinity Software Systems.

Multi-sector recruiter Paddington Partners has appointed Adam Briscoe to its Hong Kong office.

Joining from Midas Rec2Rec, Briscoe will look to manage and grow Paddington’s Hong Kong rec-to-rec business.

Oceanic Resources International, specialist recruiter for the freight, shipping and logistics industries, is to open an office in Florida in the US.
