More than half of the largest buy-out deals in the staffing sector will be private equity based in the foreseeable future, according to a lawyer who specialises in the sector.

Kevin Barrow, partner at Osborne Clarke, told Recruiter that the staffing sector was following the trend of the buy-out market overall.

The number of hospitality jobseekers in the Middle East looking to move to another role has risen year on year, according to a new survey from CatererGlobal.com.

The survey shows that 59% believe their next job will take them to another company, up from 56% last year and 53% in 2008. Only 17% thought their next move would be internal.

While less than 5% of US employers expect their employees to leave voluntarily this year, six in 10 employees intend to look for a new job if the economy improves, according to a new survey from Manpower subsidiary Right Management.
