• Global executive boutique search firm Calibre One has appointed Christos Richards as partner in the US. Richards will serve as global head of healthcare and life sciences in the Los Angeles area. He has specialised in recruiting senior level executives for the life science sector since 1991 and will focus on recruiting for board director, CEO and C-level positions for public companies and venture/private equity backed start-ups.
• Hortor, a resourcing and managed service consultancy, has appointed Ricky Hopwood as head of new partnerships. Hopwood has more than 10 years’ experience in recruitment and sales. In his new role, Hopwood will take on responsibility for identifying new opportunities at Hortor, building relationships with relevant global businesses and introducing the services the company offers to those that have yet to work with the organisation.
• People advisory firm New Street Consulting Group (NSCG) has appointed David Baty as partner in its newly formed organisation advisory team. Baty will work with clients to support their talent and organisation development agenda. He joins from Oxford Saïd Business School where he was head of consulting careers, having been a people and change consulting partner at PwC where he spent nearly 20 years before this position.
• Executive search and talent advisory firm Raines International has appointed Duncan Finlayson as managing director of its London office. Finlayson was previously a partner at True Search and brings more than a decade's experience placing senior talent in product, data, technology, design and engineering roles. He will partner with Miami-based managing director Rick Harris to lead Raines’ product, data and technology officers practice and will lead the EMEA practice.
• Stenn, the financing platform for global SMEs, has appointed Fozia Raja as chief people and culture officer, and Carl Robson as director for people & culture.
Raja will be responsible for leading the people strategy and will report directly to founder and CEO Greg Karpovsky. She will spearhead recruitment and employee experience to ensure that Stenn attracts and retains the best talent across the business. Robson brings extensive experience in scaling technology organisations and will support Raja in building Stenn’s HR capabilities globally.
According to online news platform Bdaily, Stenn continues to invest in industry talent as it scales rapidly and builds a central team from its new head offices in London.
