Darby acquires Cooper Lomaz from founders Lovell and Cooper

Mark Darby (pictured) has confirmed that he has acquired technical and professional recruitment specialist Cooper Lomaz.

Following a two-year project with founders Jane Lovell and Charlotte Cooper, the deal was completed earlier this month.

Darby said: “I would like to thank Jane and Charlotte and wish them all the best for the future. Cooper Lomaz has 30 years of heritage and has built up a fantastic reputation. A huge thank you to everyone in Copper Lomaz for their hard work and commitment over these past two years.”

As well as becoming CEO, Darby, who joined the business in 2019, also announced the promotion of Vicki Coombs to finance director and Michael Meyer to group operations director, who will join him on the Cooper Lomaz board.

“It’s very exciting times here at Cooper Lomaz. This is just the start of the journey,” explained Darby, who is now looking to grow the recruitment team.
