Medical supplier GI UK Medical launches recruitment drive

A North-Yorkshire medical device supplier has launched a recruitment drive after it secured £650k in funding.

Business Daily reports GI UK Medical secured the investment from NPIF – Mercia Equity Finance, which is managed by Mercia and part of the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund.

The start-up, which specialises in gastroenterology products, will use the funding to recruit two new members of staff, strengthen its network of global partnerships, enhance its sales and marketing strategy and to establish itself as a new NHS supplier.
