Emirates holds open day in North-East to find cabin crew

Dubai-based airline Emirates is holding a recruitment open day in the North-East on Friday as it goes on the hunt for new cabin crew.

Among the requirements for the new recruits are having an arm reach of 212cm when standing on tiptoes, and being at least 160cm in height.

Additional requirements include being fluent in English, having no visible tattoos, having a healthy BMI (body mass index) and being able to adapt to new people, new places and new situations. The open day will take place on Friday at the Hilton Newcastle Gateshead on Bottle Bank in Gateshead.
