A new business has been launched which generates videos based on recruitment listings.

The Glasgow-based VacancyVids is an automatic recruitment video creation service that converts text job adverts into recruitment videos, in a process which is apparently unaffected by the language used. It is intended to bring down the costs of normally expensive recruitment video creation.

Clients fill in a webform, submit it and a 30-second video is automatically created. It provides a précis of information about the position and uses Google Maps to show the location of the vacancy.

Company owner Peter Dobson is planning to recruit client service and sales staff for VacancyVids in the immediate future.
