Open Web, the big data sourcing service from the IT Job Board, has signed deals with five firms, including a recruiter.

The companies are networking equipment manufacturer Cisco, global recruiter Michael Page, security company Northrop Grumman, mobile engagement and messaging services provider Acision, and learning platform Firefly.

Open Web technology extracts publicly-available information from 130 different professional and social networking sites to create an all-in-one candidate profile.

The information gathered is intended to help companies and hiring managers tailor their approach to individual candidates.
