Northern Ireland’s enterprise, trade and investment minister Arlene Foster says CVS Caremark decided to create the additional jobs at the Belfast centre, which provides software solutions for the US company, because the local management team has been successful in “attracting and retaining highly skilled software engineers and quality assurance testers”.

“They have also been impressed by the loyalty of employees and the strong work ethic, as this has contributed to their success, and provided a strong foundation to build on,” she adds.

Invest Northern Ireland has offered £725k of assistance for the jobs, which will pay above the private sector average and contribute around £3.3m a year in salaries to the economy.
