Programming and code enthusiasts are being encouraged to enrol on the one-day event. Entitled ‘Job in a Day’, the event will give candidates the opportunity to showcase their coding expertise during a day of fun and engaging IT challenges.

James Lomas, IT director for comparethemarket.com, says: “We wanted our recruitment approach to mirror ‘The Way’ we work and so pair programming forms part of the day. Continuous feedback throughout the event allows us to make a job offer immediately and we hope that everyone learns and takes something away in addition to their gift of a Raspberry Pi!”
