Agency recruiters elected to steer de Poel’s Tempo

Eight figures from the recruitment agency world have been elected to the steering group of recruitment alliance Tempo, launched earlier this year by temporary labour procurer de Poel.

The steering group will be led by Tempo chair Keith Faulkner CBE (pictured), and includes three end-user client representatives and a member of de Poel’s management team.
The first client member was announced as Kate Wilding, resourcing operations manager of oil & energy firm Centrica, with two more to be named in the coming weeks. Supplier relationship manager Craig Young represents de Poel. So far, de Poel has 59 members, a spokesperson tells Recruiter.
An election at last week’s inaugural Tempo AGM returned the following elected agency members from 13 candidates:

According to Tempo, the steering group is tasked with:
- Specifying and enforcing the standards required of Tempo’s members
- Establishing the issues on which Tempo will seek to inform, educate and influence the market
- Communicating with members, employers and other key stakeholders
