Wed, 27 Feb 2013Australia-based job site SEEK is working alongside the country’s government to maximise work opportunities for Australians in the resources sector.
The government’s Resources Sector Jobs Board will now show vacancies from SEEK. By law, companies must advertise on the jobs board, which was established in June 2012, before government gives them approval to access skilled workers from outside of Australia.
Employment and workplace relations minister Bill Shorten calls the move “an exciting opportunity to establish a strong relationship between government and a private sector organisation”.
