Recruitment specialist Meridian Business Support is hosting a summit on pension reform, chaired by Recruiter editor DeeDee Doke, in London on Thursday, 21 February.

Held in the St Botolph Building six months on from new workplace pensions legislation coming into force, the free summit will reflect on pragmatic solutions to help British businesses manage the changes.

The panel for the afternoon event (2pm-6pm) includes David Lunt, head of relationship management at the National Employment Savings Trust, legal expert Tim Johnson and Paul Horan, principal consultant at accountancy and consulting firm Grant Thornton, as well as other industry representatives.

The day will pay particular regard to sectors that rely heavily on temporary workers; representatives will consider the financial, legislative and economic implications of recent pension reform, including legal responsibilities and planning for auto-enrolment compliance.
