The FIRM launches resourcing education programme with Henley Business School

The Forum for In-House Recruitment Managers (The FIRM) has partnered with Henley Business School in the development of a nine-month modular strategic resourcing programme (SRP).
Wed, 27 Feb 2013The Forum for In-House Recruitment Managers (The FIRM) has partnered with Henley Business School in the development of a nine-month modular strategic resourcing programme (SRP) for talent acquisition professionals.
The school has 20 places available for the 2013 course, starting in April. The programme will cost £3,850 + VAT.
The nine-month course, which includes four one-day and two day-and-a-half workshops, is designed for “senior or high-potential, aspiring resourcing professionals”, according to The FIRM. The course involves group work and individual reflection and is aimed to “stretch them into more strategic areas”.
The programme will also see participants create a strategic development plan for resourcing in their own business and write a recommendation report upon completion.
The programme director is Nick Kemsley, a co-director of the school’s Centre for HR Excellence, who has previously held senior HR and resourcing roles at financial services firm Prudential, gases and engineering company The Linde Group (formerly BOC prior to a merger), FMCG brand Mars, and before this worked in project management with engineering firms GEC-Alstom and Rolls-Royce Aerospace.

- EVP [employee value propostion], attraction and sourcing strategies
