Brian Wilkinson has stepped down from the Randstad Executive Board, effective 1 December.
Wilkinson was a management board member at Vedior when the multi-sector, multi-national recruitment company was acquired by the Dutch staffing giant in 2008. From 2008, when he was appointed to the Randstad Executive Board, Wilkinson has been responsible for the UK, India and Asia Pacific.
A Randstad spokeswoman told recruiter.co.uk that Wilkinson was on a year’s notice period but would not be working after 1 December. She said she did not know his future plans. At press time, Wilkinson could not be reached for comment.
On 25 October, Randstad announced its Q3 financial results which revealed continued underperformance in its UK operations.
In a press statement, Ben Noteboom, chief executive officer of Randstad, said the company wished him the best in the future and praised him for playing a key role in the “complex integration processes” in Australia and the UK following the merger and as a “dedicated, experienced and motivational colleague”.
Randstad Holding’s Supervisory Board proposes to appoint Francois Beharel to the Executive Board for an initial four-year term. The appointment is subject to shareholder approval at the company’s annual general meeting next March.
