A new terminal is due to be built and BAS’s chairman Mohammed Jalal tells the Gulf Daily News that employing more staff was the number one priority.

Jalal added that Bahrainis would make up the majority of new staff.The BAS Aircraft Engineering Training Centre has been recently accredited as an Edexcel Higher National Diploma provider for its aeronautical engineering training programmes, with the centre due to launch the programme for students next month.

According to the website, BAS has invested BD1m (£1.7m) in a new training centre.
