CareerBuilder has compiled the most memorable interview mistakes for a variety of European employers.
Failure to sit down properly came in at number five. See the top 10 below:

  1. Candidate greeted interviewer with a high-five instead of a handshake
  2. Candidate brought in worry beads that clicked during the entire interview
  3. Candidate kissed the interviewer goodbye
  4. Candidate cried when asked, “Did you find the place ok?”
  5. Candidate missed the chair completely when sitting down
  6. Candidate brought a guitar and sang a song
  7. Candidate called the interviewer “little old woman”
  8. Candidate came in with a t-shirt that said “I hate work”
  9. Candidate took off his shoes during the interview
  10. Candidate said “I give up” halfway through the interview
