The UK has seen a tentative return to hiring activity, according to Badenoch & Clark’s professional talent spotlight for September/October 2009.

The spotlight records an increase in the demand for performance professionals and compliance specialists as well as commercial finance roles such as financial planning and analysis and commercial analysis in the finance sector.

Neil Wilson, managing director at Badenoch & Clark, says: “Employers continue to remain cautious about the prospects for the UK economy.

“While we’re seeing a tentative return to hiring, with a modest increase in the range of positions available, many employers are taking their time to make the right hiring decisions.”
