Zahawi is also joint chief executive officer and co-founder of YouGov, an online market research agency.  Previously he was European marketing director at Smith & Brooks, responsible for brands such as Warner Bros, Disney and Barbie. He has recently stepped down as a councillor of the London Borough of Wandsworth.

He will also serve on SThree's remuneration and audit committees.
