In its first venture outside Europe, interim management provider Practicus is opening an office in Sydney, Australia on 2 November.

This follows the opening on office in the Netherlands earlier this year.

Practicus is appointing Mark Doyle to the position of general manager of the new office. Doyle, who has been focusing on senior appointments in Sydney for the last five years has worked with Practicus managing director Jason Luckhurst before.

Commenting on his new appointment in Sydney, Doyle, says: “Having seen firsthand the quality of the model that Jason and the guys have established, this opportunity was too good to miss. I think we’re going to have a significant impact here and I can’t wait for us to get up and running on the 2 November.”

Luckhurst adds: “Australia is absolutely central to our business plan. We specialise in identifying the right interim professionals to drive business transformation in an organisation and if you look at what is currently happening across sectors in Australia, it’s clear that change, quite large change, is about to occur.”
