Scottish recruiter Orion Group has been presented with a Queen’s Award for Enterprise by HRH Prince Andrew, Duke of York.
 
The firm, which is opening three new offices in Papua New Guinea, Alaska and Gabon in West Central Africa this month, was awarded the accolade for ‘international trade’ earlier in the year in recognition of growth in overseas earnings.  

Alan Savage, chairman of Orion Group, said: “Receiving the Queen’s Award and today’s official presentation has been a tremendous honour for the company and our committed team.  Coupled with the opening of our new overseas offices, this year has been a great success despite the downturn.”
