Belfast-based Delegate Recruitment has opened an international language recruitment division to find specialist multi-lingual candidates in sales, marketing, customer service/technical support, ICT and hospitality sectors.

Based in The Netherlands, Delegate’s international division was launched at the International Language Recruitment Fair in Amsterdam last month, giving delegate access to a multi-lingual talent pool of 8,000 candidates.

Delegate Recruitment director, Anne Murphy, says: “The demand for staff with bilingual skills is continuing to grow.  Manufacturing businesses that engage in export need staff with bilingual skills that can play a crucial role in sales development, contract negotiation and after sales care.

“In addition, a number of international organisations are outsourcing various divisions of their European operations to Northern Ireland-based companies. Similarly, service-based clients must be able to provide the same standard of service to the growing number of ethnic diverse residents in Northern Ireland as to the indigenous population, and all sectors are experiencing difficulty in accessing individuals with the appropriate skills to meet their needs.”
