One in five IT professionals have held five international jobs over their career, according to new research from global IT and telecoms recruiter Networkers International.  

The poll of 500 IT workers also found that 60% of those who have worked abroad have done so in at least two countries, while most ex-pats go from one foreign role to another without returning to the UK.

Over half (52%) have worked abroad with 33% working in Germany, 28% in the US, 26% choosing the Netherlands and 21% opting for France.
