InterQuest profits down

InterQuest Group made a profit of £630,000 after tax in the six months ended 30 June 2009. This compares with a profit of £1.5m in the same period in 2008. Revenue was down 8% at £49.2m.

InterQuest chairman Gary Ashworth says: “Looking beyond the current market conditions to a potential upturn, we have maintained a robust and scalable platform to support renewed growth in our core businesses and we have sown the seeds for additional organic growth in the new operations formed within IQ Equity. We therefore face the future with confidence, well-placed to meet the challenges it will bring.”
