Cheshire, UK-based technical search and selection agency Leap29 has announced its first overseas base in Calgary, Canada.
The office will work with clients in the oil & gas and mining sectors across the country from Canada’s third-largest city.
According to the company, Canada is “unusual among developed countries in the importance of its primary sector, which has large, successful timber and oil & gas industries”.
The office will be led by Canada director Brendan O’Connell. A UK national and formerly the director of a logistics business, O’Connell relocated to Canada last month with his Canadian wife.
