HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) has launched a series of webinars giving help on tax to businesses and the self-employed.

HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) has launched a series of webinars giving help on tax to businesses and the self-employed.

They are designed to guide workers and businesses through the detail around self-employment, tax liability, limited companies and the Construction Industry Scheme.The presentations are free, though you must register in advance.

There will be two types of webinar: live events on set dates, which allow a further 30 minutes for live Q&A; and pre-recorded webinars available round the clock.

The webinars will cover various topics, including:

    Business expenses and capital allowances
    First steps as an employer
    The Construction Industry Scheme
    Self-assessment online
    Limited companies, an overview
    How VAT works
