Umbrella company Liquid Friday has promoted Alex Baines to operations director and made Sam Pascoe commercial director. Baines now joins the board, and has been with the company for two years. Pascoe joined earlier this year in the role of regional account manager.

The deal also includes a deferred consideration linked to profit performance of up to £2m, and comes a couple of weeks after the firm placed an extra 40m new ordinary shares, raising around £274m to fund further acquisitions, as reported by recruiter.co.uk on 25 April.

Multi-sector recruiter Stafforce has appointed Paul Brammer as director of services. This is a newly created role to grow Stafforce’s consultancy services, which complement its traditional recruitment services. Brammer joined the Stafforce in July 2011 from the skills and employability sector. Since joining Stafforce, he has worked as business manager for special projects, focusing on developing opportunities beyond Stafforce’s traditional core recruitment business.
