Employers still see the benefits of graduate talent, despite a reduction in graduate recruitment, according to the chief executive of the Association of Graduate Recruiters (AGR).

Over a third of new IT job vacancies are being created in investment banks, according to new research.

The research, from IT recruiter ReThink Recruitment, shows that 36% of new IT job vacancies in the financial services sector are for positions in investment banks.

Finance and insurance recruiter Darwin Rhodes has won a contract to support recruitment staff at Aon’s new Centre of Excellence in Dublin, Ireland.

The Centre is to recruit 100 senior specialist insurance roles driven through Darwin Rhodes’ new Dublin office.

The Monster Employment Index UK slumped at a record rate in January.
