A restructuring is underway at multi-sector recruiter Kelly Services, which reports it may trim its workforce by as many as 350 employees.
Due to the restructure, the UK business is now being led by Tracy Ellison, who has assumed an interim role as managing director of the UK.

Multi-sector recruiter Manpower has reported that net earnings for fourth-quarter trading fell to $79.2m (£55m) from $133.1m (£92.45m) in 2007, while fourth-quarter revenues were $4.6bn (£3.2bn), a decrease of 18% from the year earlier period.
The nursing and social care sector is suffering from a severe skills shortage, according to a new survey.
The survey, from the Recruitment and Employment Confederation (REC), shows that 80% of the REC’s nursing and social care sector group reported problems related to a shortage of skilled labour.

Nine modelling and entertainment agencies have been issued with warnings for failing to comply with the law following an investigation by the government’s Employment Agency Standards Inspectorate.
