Network Group Holdings made a loss in the six months to 31 May 2009, as the company was hit my “extremely difficult market conditions”. The company recorded a loss of £905,000 after tax, compared to a profit of £1.28m in the same period in 2008.

New job board Sunee.co.uk has launched. The website allows employers to brand their vacancies, as well as allowing them to  advertise some jobs for free.

Steve Buchanan, managing director of Sunee.co.uk, says:“Employers have the choice of advertising their vacancies for 14 or 30 days and our featured recruiters have jobs branded with their company logo on the homepage.

Multi-sector recruiter Randstad has agreed to purchase a 10% stake in the share capital of Japanese recruiter Fujistaff for around £10.5m.

Global recruitment and talent management company Hudson has confirmed that Andy Rogerson, chief executive of Hudson UK, has resigned and will leave the company at the end of January.

NES has announced post tax profits of  £699,000 for the 15 months ending 31 October 2008.

This compares with a loss of  £1.64m in the 12 months ending 31 October 2007.

Revenue increased to £252.8m, a rise of 16.4% on the previous year, with gross profit margin improving from 12.2% to 12.4%.
