Six in 10 HR professionals plan to increase investment in employer branding over the next year, according to research from TMP Worldwide.

The research also shows that for more than 90% of HR professionals, as the economy picks up, the impact of their employer brand on their ability to increase recruitment will grow in importance.

Research released today from HSBC has found that 29% of people believe their job is not secure over the next 12 months.

Thirty-seven per cent of people worried that their job was not secure over the next three years, including 40% of public sector workers and 35% of people in the private sector.
