Recruitment firm QID is to merge with Starfish Consulting, a fellow New Zealand company. The deal will see the QID name ditched. QID's Ben Pearson said the merged entity will have a new name, which will be unveiled early in 2007. While QID has spent "some equity" establishing its current brand, "it doesn't stand for what we will being doing in 2007", Pearson said.





Salary increases for office support staff in the past year have been "less than spectacular" and staff turnover is the same as last year. That's according to the 19th annual SecsLife survey from Gordon Yates, recruiter of skilled office support staff.
