Real Resourcing, part of SThree, has rebranded as Real Staffing Group.

The change has been made to reflect the fact that client companies are drawing out of ‘recession mode’, and face new staffing challenges. David Rees, director of the Real Staffing Group, explains: “It was identifying this new need in our clients that led us to rebrand.”

HGV and industrial recruitment firm Transline-Resource has strengthened its training team with the appointment of two more driver trainers. This follows last year’s opening of its Trafford Park Training Team HQ.

Global provider of business solutions for human resources Kenexa is to support Unilever with employee engagement surveys and improved action planning capability.


In extending its relationship with Unilever, Kenexa plans to assess engagement of more than 140,000 Unilever employees worldwide. The survey will take place again in 2012.

It was interesting to read Dean Shoesmith’s comments (Recruiter, 23 June 10). As councils are moving away from a transactional role, recruiters that will provide the best value are those that also follow suit and ensure they are offering appropriate strategic consultancy.

Eurociett, the European confederation of private employment agencies, has recently announced 10 key recommendations which must be put into place if Europe is to keep as many people in work as possible.


The recommendations have been created to address three areas that Eurociett believes need immediate attention:

Multi-job posting distribution and CV search specialist Broadbean has joined the Bullhorn Marketplace and has fully integrated with Bullhorn’s applicant tracking and CRM software.

Keiichi Iso is a senior consultant in the Tokyo office, specialising in industry and energy.

Technical recruiter Morson has agreed terms for the acquisition of the business, contracts and fixed assets of Acetech Personnel for a cash consideration of £2.35m. The effective date of the transfer is 9 July 2010.
