Life sciences executive search and interim management specialist RSA has made a number of new appointments across its global network.  

Multi-sector recruiter Concept Staffing has appointed Mel Dyson as a consultant.

Dyson, who has spent 22 years working in the recruitment industry, joins Concept’s Yeovil branch and will be responsible for a combined desk in the commercial sector.

The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) has introduced a new associate level of professional membership.

The new level sits below the existing professional grades of Chartered Member and Chartered Fellow.

Associates will be able use the designatory letters ‘Assoc CIPD’ after their name.

One in five IT professionals have held five international jobs over their career, according to new research from global IT and telecoms recruiter Networkers International.  

The poll of 500 IT workers also found that 60% of those who have worked abroad have done so in at least two countries, while most ex-pats go from one foreign role to another without returning to the UK.

Multi-sector recruiter Badenoch & Clark has reported improved profits for the year ended 28 December 2008.

Turnover increased to £254.96m in 2008, from £239.23m in 2007.

Gross profit grew from £62.68m in 2007 to £64.96m in 2008, while profit for the financial year rose from £11.61m to £11.82m.
