Almost half of UK workers have worked cash-in-hand, according to a survey by recruitment agency review website www.Hirescores.com.

The research reveals that hairdressers were most likely to earn extra cash (73%), followed by mechanics with 67% saying they had worked on someone’s car outside of work.

Global provider of talent acquisition solutions MrTed has agreed a partnership with advert distribution and response tracking technology firm Broadbean Technology.

The partnership will provide MrTed’s customers the ability to instantly advertise positions to any job board from their familiar front office interface.

Executive search firm Carmichael Fisher has recruited Kirsty Brett as a senior consultant.

Engineering recruiter  Exxell has agreed a contract to supply baggage-handling staff for Schiphol Airport near Amsterdam.

The three-year contract runs from the start of next year and is with engineering support services company Babcock.
