€500m funding to benefit UK business of HR Path

Global HR consulting giant HR Path has announced a €500m (£423m) fundraising round from international private investment house Ardian.

Established in Paris, France in 2001 by co-founders Cyril Courtin (above left) and François Boulet (above right), HR Path has a team of around 1,800 professionals globally, and operates in 22 countries.

Optimising recruitment, developing and retaining talent, and managing human resources more effectively are key success factors and competitive advantages for companies, says an HR Path statement.

The landmark fundraising is the largest in the firm’s history, and marks a significant milestone in HR Path’s strategy, according to the statement. It will play a crucial role in driving the next phase of HR Path’s growth and international expansion in the US, Canada, Germany, the Nordic countries, Australia and the UK.

In the UK, the group now operates in two local offices (London and Southampton), employs more than 60 and serves over 40 companies across a wide range of industries. To accelerate this growth, a portion of the funding will be focused on the group’s UK operations.

“Securing this €500m financing from Ardian is a transformative step for HR Path,” said George Gabriel, partner of HR Path UK. “This operation will enable us to strengthen our local position and develop new service offerings to further help our customers achieve their goals.”

HR Path intends to use the new funding to continue and accelerate the external growth strategy initiated in the UK since 2021, which has seen the integration of Plus HR and Consult HR to strengthen its presence in recruitment, administrative consulting and payroll outsourcing.

This year, the HR Path Group also integrated Three Plus Consulting, a leading Workday Services Partner in the UK. The group is currently exploring several avenues for partnerships and collaborations with a number of UK-based industry players.
