Dorman joins Hays to lead group’s people & culture

Global recruiter Hays has appointed Deborah Dorman as chief people officer, to lead the group’s People & Culture department and join its executive leadership team.

Dorman will lead the development of Hays’ strategic people agenda, driving forward key areas such as culture, diversity & inclusion, talent management, compensation and benefits, and succession planning. The new role is integral to the development and execution of Hays’ business strategy, encompassing all HR-related topics and high-priority projects.

Dorman joins Hays from retailer Sainsbury’s, where she served as the director of group HR, leading significant innovation across all aspects of strategic HR. Earlier in her career, Dorman led client services in marketing communications consultancies, before successfully transitioning into HR leadership roles.
