Former SThree head joins Levin ahead of ‘transformative’ phase

Technology recruitment company Levin has appointed Dave Rees as new chair of the board.

This strategic move comes as Levin gears up for a ‘transformative phase’ in its corporate journey in 2024, a company statement said.

Rees previously served as the global chief revenue officer for recruitment organisation SThree, where he led a team of over 2,500 professionals.

“Known for his discerning approach to board appointments, Rees has taken the time to familiarise himself with Levin’s operations and has accepted the role of guiding the company through its next phase of growth,” a company statement said.

Levin, which operates through Storm2, Storm3, Storm4, Storm6 and StormAI, is poised to transition from start-up in 2024, aiming “to become a sophisticated and organised scale-up”, the statement said.

The recent addition of Stephen Segel as chief financial officer, complemented by the continued guidance of non-executive director Victoria Maloney, further strengthens Levin's leadership team. Additionally, the company has the continued support of investors Edward Ogden and Jamie Willoughby at Puffin Point.

To mark the beginning of this new era, Levin's global leadership team will convene in London for a strategy meeting offsite in early March. This strategic gathering will set the tone for the company's focused pursuit of its business vision.
