Astute Technical Recruitment has appointed Piotr Stroinski as recruitment partner following two years of recruiting in the architecture sector. Stroinski as will focus on the contract side of Astute’s energy procurement and construction offering in the UK and Europe.

• Bristol-headquartered recruitment firm mustard has promoted accounts and payroll manager Daniela Kent to associate director of administration and finance. Kent has been an integral part of the mustard team for 13 years.

S&You, a newly-launched specialist permanent recruiter of high calibre permanent and contracting talent, has appointed Tom Derbyshire as its first principal consultant. Previously general manager at Finite920 Recruitment Solutions in New Zealand, Derbyshire will focus on contracting work within the technology sector as part of Acorn by Synergie’s newest division, and brings two decades of recruitment industry experience with him to the role.
