Healthcare recruitment firm Resource Finder helps in fight against global nursing shortages

Hull-based Resource Finder, an international healthcare recruitment company, has committed a £100k a year to help tackle the global nursing shortage.

The financial support is designed to help nurses remain in countries that are targeted to fill NHS vacancies in the UK, according to news site Bdaily.

Resource Finder recruits nurses from countries including the Philippines, India, Africa, UAE and Europe for roles within the NHS. For every nurse it recruits from these countries it will financially support another nurse to help them complete their final exams or re-join the healthcare profession and remain in their home country.

The new ‘Nursing to Nurture’ programme has been launched to candidates in the Philippines and is expected to support around 500 nurses every year.
